It was long time ago since I had the inspiration to write, I have missed it. I think now it will be easier because of some changes I made.
Just to get going I feel like I need to sum up what I have been doing! So here it comes:
As you probably now I spend my winter on skis. Still in the mountains! I have been doing my best season in Ski mountaineering so far!
That makes me so happy and motivated for the next winter season. Also all these strong girls I get to compete with and against make me so happy and proud and inspired. All at the same time.
I finished my last skimo race the 2 may and the 9 may I was suppose to run Transvulcania, 76 km with 4000 meters if climbing. Of course I doubted if it was possible. I had run only a few runs the whole winter. I started with the vertical and I felt OK!
I did it! I crossed the finish line! Warmer than I prefer and the time was not super good. But ay, I did it!
After that I needed a rest. Not only I finished a long ski season, I ran 2 races. Zegama marathon 1 week after Transvulcania. Just because I love that race so much. My legs where so very tired. So I rested for 10 days. I did literally nothing.
In june I started to prepare my running season. I was fresh in my mind and body. But I started slow, did some skiing, some mountaineering and a little running.
The last 2 weeks I did big weeks of running and now I´m tired in my legs and off to Alaska to explore a the race Mount Marathon!
I´m so excited to go there to see the beautiful nature and to run that legendary race! It´s only 5 km.. up and down a 926 meter mountain.
